On Eid-ul-Adha Pakistani people love to make it with fresh meat and it tastes really good when cooked with fresh meat. You can also make it with lamb/goat meat. - In a cooking pot on medium to high heat into oil add onion, bay leaves and cumin seeds and cook until golden brown.Remove the fried onions & set a side
- Now in same pot or oil add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute then add beef pieces, tomatoes, salt,green chilies and cook for 5 min until tomatoes become soft
- Strain the soaked rice,place it evenly on top of the beef in the pot add beef stock(yakhni) and if needed, add some more water make sure water should be 1 inch upper to the rice,cover and let cook for 15 mins
- Then put the fried onions and mint leaves on top,cover it,reduce the heat to medium low and cook it for 10 mins now check that all the water dried then mix it and serve with fried onions & Raita..
