Yamrita is one of the most favored of recent trending meals on earth. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions daily. They’re nice and they look fantastic. Yamrita is something which I have loved my whole life.
Most Nigerians would describe yamarita as fried yam that got a master's degree from Harvard University and went to Yale for a doctorate degree. This simply means that you can take the local yam and turn it into something amazingly yummy and appetizing. Yamarita is plain boiled yam that is coated in egg, flour, ginger, garlic, and salt. This is one of the most popular Hausa food.
To begin with this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook yamrita using 6 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.
The ingredients needed to make Yamrita:
- Get Yam
- Prepare Egg
- Prepare Pepper and spices
- Prepare Garlic and ginger
- Take Salt

Yamarita is also known as Dundun Oniyeri. This meal is simply thinly sliced parboiled or blanched yams dipped into whisked egg+flour. They are then fried until crispy. The difference between Yamarita and the common fried yams (dundun) is the egg and flour mix.
Instructions to make Yamrita:
- Peel d yam wash and add little salt and boil
- In a clean bowl beak d eggs add ginger, garlic and spice beat very well
- Put frying pan on fire and pour little oil
- Put d yam into d egg mix ture and fry until golden brown, your yamrita is ready
